PeerPlink Blog Network
We will be launching a blog network on the 1st of Jan, covering Technology, Start Ups, Design, Marketing, Applications and Gossip.

We are looking for writers and stories, check out the PeerPlink home page for details and if interested just fill in the simple form.

B-Net - Blog Network Hub Application
While putting together PeerPlink we built a rather cool front end for the network and will be releasing it as a downloadable application you can use to build your own blog network.

If you visit PeerPlink you will be looking at the front end. It has a simple admin interface that lets you add blogs to the network. The application then automatically adds the blog to the network page, mixes it’s feed into the global feed and outputs n number of stories.

The application has ajax for authors, advertiser requests, story submission and writer requests. It can be used to create a hub page for any sites that produce RSS or Atom feeds, so you can use Blogger, Wordpress, MoveableType or even a CMS that produces feeds.

U-Gen - User Generated Geographic Directory Application
In Jan we will be releasing a really cool new application that is basically a user generated directory that uses geographic locations/google maps at it’s core. We can see it being used for dating sites, business directories, wine directories or pretty much anything.

It will allow users to add an item, upload photos and video and allow users to comment. It uses the Locationate engine but removes the property specific portions to allow it to be used in much wider contexts.

We will also be releasing what has to be the best real estate Web 2.0 application available.

Finally we are going to be doing some building work on this site, to accommodate e-commerce for the application sales.

CanÂ´t wait to see the new products. Sounds interesting.
How much will the locationate app cost? Will you encode the whole app like folkstr or will there be a source version too?

Hey Chris,

No definite price on Locationate as yet but it won’t be encoded, in fact nothing will be.
