Everyone (Techcrunch, Techcrunch UK, Read/Write) seems to have covered the beta launch of UK based True Knowledge, except for UK based Blognation, who’s UK section hasn’t seen a post since 29th of October. But they do seem to concentrate on mobile now rather than start-ups, which is odd considering Sam Sethi’s (Blognations founder) vocal posts on the subject.

Anyway, True Knowledge got £600k VC and is

out to change the way factual information is made accessible via the Internet. By structuring facts in a way that machines and humans can easily understand, its tool is able to provide an intelligent response to questions without human intervention. In other words, you put in a question and it’s supposed to answer like a human.

I wish them all the best.

I think blognation UK has been pwned by the return of TC UK - there’s no market space any more.

If I were running blognation I’d use the fantastic platform they’ve built but shift the focus from Tech to something else.

Meanwhile… the Blognation chest is looking pretty damn empty today…

Noticed that myself, can’t imagine they’ve closed the doors, I’m just getting connection reset errors when hitting their site.

Maybe just a problem with their server.
