Brand Republic have just reported a survey commissioned by Garlik.

London was the most popular region for social networking, attracting 51% of the population, closely followed by the South East on 48%, whereas the South West and Scotland produced the lowest participation levels with 37% and 34% respectively.

I suppose when you set out to work at 7 am, don’t get back until 9 pm and have to pay a huge mortgage social networking has to be a desirable option, certainly cheaper than the pub.
