Continuing our Web 2.0 application development we are getting close to the release of Roomstr - last week we had to step up the development schedule for Roomstr, which wasn’t due for release until January 2008.

Roomstr

But, due to some unforeseen circumstances we are bringing it forward to early November 2007. Depending on how those ‘unforeseen’ circumstances pan out there may be a cautionary tale to tell.

Roomstr will be a downloadable PHP/MySQL application you can purchase, download and install on your own website. It will provide a property web site where users and agents can list properties for sale, to rent or house shares/house swaps.

Using Web 2.0 technologies Roomstr will provide a unique and engaging user experience. Where potential buyers will be able to browse, search and filter properties using maps and keywords/tags.

Users will be able to create a profile where they can save short listed properties and set default search/filter parameters to enable quick/easy location of potential properties.

More to come later, if you want to be part of the private beta drop me an email.

    Hi Gary, sounds really interesting.
Im looking for a similiar plattform. Right know we check if there is an out-of-the-box software like yours or if we need to start from the ground up.

I would also like to participate in beta-testing: susim20000@web.de

    Regards, Susan

    Hi Gary,

Great work. I came across your website earlier today . I tried the Folkstr and J-board demo and instantly liked both. You and your team have done a fantastic job in terms of design and functionality in both.
I have been looking out for a real estate script for the last 2 months and couldn’t find anything close to what I have in mind. I would really appreciate if you could add me on as a beta tester. Can’t wait to see what you guys will come up with in Roomstr.

    Cheers
    Alex
